Research shows that dads and expectant fathers are very reluctant to read any of the pregnancy, parenting and baby books that their partners turn to in preparation for birth and the reality of having babies and children.
Being Dad is the “dadumentary” DVD that delivers real information to dads to demystify the whole process – and is now being filmed for dads in Ireland, Scotland and England.
Already hugely popular in Australia and launching this summer in the US, Being Dad uses a cunning blend of humour and expert advice in small snippets to educate today’s dads. The films track a dad’s journey through pregnancy, birth and early parenthood and include interviews with over 60 new dads discussing their experiences - warts and all.
Being Dad is now being filmed in the UK and we are looking for dads living in or near: Manchester, Bath, Dublin, Edinburgh and London.
Filming takes about two hours and you'll join five other dads in a relaxed environment talking about everything from conception to birth and bringing the baby home. The film company provides free food and plenty of beers. This is a great opportunity to be a part of the first UK and Irish film that inspires and informs future dads-to-be.
See the relaxed filming style of our US trailer and some fun clips from the Australian DVDs at www.beingdad.com.au
Dads can be any age – all they need to have is a baby or children from birth to three years old.
