Beautiful Oops by Barney Salzberg is still a great favourite in our household. A book beloved by children and adults alike. Another much-read and loved book by this fantastic children's author is Arlo Needs Glasses.
If anything A Little Bit Of Oomph by Barney Salzberg is even more spectacular. The graphics, colours, lift-the-flaps and "pop-ups" are fabulous. The first page ecourages the reader (in black and white) to Make something extraordinary(in glorious technicolour and design).
A Little Bit Of Oomph encourages children to "think big" and let their imaginations have free rein. Oomph is the little bit extra you need to make life beautiful. From a fish in a bowl to the ocean, from a tail to a tale. It is a glorious book.
Barney Salberg's delightful A Little Bit Of Oomph is simply perfect for pre-school children from age three plus (although I find younger children love it too!), an ideal gift and and a great stocking-filler for Christmas.
