There are 50 family walks in
Beautiful Buggy Walks: England – each one giving a map reference,
distance, timing and
how easy it is. If the
walk is a bit tricky for some
buggies, often an
alternative route is given. In the
How easy section there's also a
pictorial buggy guide so you know what's in store!
There are also "
dad facts" which I thought rather sexist! Why not
parent facts? Plus
rest and refresh gives some tips on where to eat and
links for further information.
The walks are put together
geographically for
easy reference, with seven sections:
- South West
- West Country
- South
- East Anglia
- Central England
- North West
- North East
Beautiful Buggy Walks: England by Richard Happer is beautifully illustrated throughout and it is the perfect book to dip into for ideas and inspiration as well as a good companion for holidays in the England. In fact it will come in handy long after the buggy has been discarded!
