Britax B-Lite stroller

The Britax B-Lite Buggy is suitable for babies from birth, very lightweight and simple to fold. Once folded it is so compact it can be stowed in a cupboard out of sight or fits neatly into the boot of a car. When folded it is also easy to carry due to its light frame. However as the B-Lite buggy is so lightweight, I do have to remember not to load it up with shopping bags, as my daughter Harriet is not that heavy yet!

The multi-position seat means that the baby can lie flat, enabling them to sleep more comfortably. The buggy has adjustable straps, to use with newborns and toddlers. I did feel that Harriet looked a bit too small as a tiny newborn to go in a stroller  – although she would have been perfectly safe. Also Harriet often sleeps on her side, and being strapped in prevents her doing so. She is now three months and we have been using the buggy more frequently, as she enjoys being able to sit up and see around her when we are out and about. (Although she does slump to one side a bit!)

The B-Lite buggy has all round suspension, adjustable calf support (not that Harriet is big enough to take advantage of that yet!), lockable front wheels (the swivel front wheels make it very easy to steer) and a detachable, showerproof hood, with viewing window. The window is very useful if you are walking along, but want to check on your baby when asleep.

The Britax B-Lite stroller is perfect for getting on and off public transport, as it can be easily lifted, even on one's own. It is great for buses, as no one seems to want to fold their buggies these days – or can't as they are so large - so often one would have to wait for a few buses before one with buggy space arrives. This buggy means I can whip on and off buses, without worrying about manoeuvring around other buggy's or the public.

I also go up to town quite often, so not only is the buggy good on transport there and back – which can get quite busy – but it is also small enough to move quickly around in busy streets. Oxford Street is much more inviting with this Britax B-Lite stroller!
