Drumond Park, the UK’s leading independent games company, is well known for its well-designed, sturdy and reasonably priced action games for smaller children. Everyone will remember or know Doh Nutters and Magic Tooth Fairy, and last year’s TRA Game of the Year Pig Goes Pop is still highly popular with the young fraternity (and parents and grandparents!). This Christmas, the kids will be clamouring for Dino Bite – another really fantastic game for two or more players aged four plus, which will keep both boys and girls enthralled for many a long hour!
A fearsome T-Rex dinosaur is perched on top of a Dino nest. A large
green leaf covers a collection of twenty tiny, helpless blue, red, yellow and
green baby dinosaurs who’ve been stolen from another dinosaur’s nest, and are
now awaiting their fate… Each player takes it in turn to rescue an egg from the
nest with the tweezers supplied. With each roll of the coloured dice the players carefully lift the edge
of the leaf, steadily move their tweezers into the nest, grasp the baby and
lift it out to safety! Or it’s
fine for younger players to use their fingers instead of the tweezers, if they
like. But beware and be on your guard… that bad-tempered old Dino knows exactly
what you’re after, and when he spots you, he’ll wait his chance, then roar out
loud and lunge terrifyingly towards you.
And that means you are out!
Parenting Without Tears has five games to be won. To be in with a chance of winning just answer this question:
How many eggs are in the Dino nest?
Winner will be the senders of the first five emails opened at random after 4pm on Thursday 29 September, 2011. Only one entry per household.
