JLab, a leading tech company in the US, has changed the look and feel of Bluetooth true wireless earbuds with its brand new colour for its GO Air Pop – a pink version. Featuring JLab's most unobtrusive fit to date, the GO Air POP is 15 per cent smaller and 40 per cent lighter than the ground breaking JLab GO Air that set a new benchmark for the category in 2020.

With an RRP of just £24.99 at Amazon and Argos, the GO Air Pop is priced below many of JLab's direct competitors' and comes packed with a suite of features well above its accessible price – with a charging case smaller than a car key fob. JLab's GO Air Pop provides:

  • a class-leading 32+ hours of playtime,
  • dual connect technology so each earbud can be used independently for calls or audio
  • touch controls compatible with both Android and Apple devices.

Unlike the competition, as with all JLab true wireless products, it's backed with an industry two-year warranty versus the standard one year. In the event that an earbud is lost or misplaces, replacement earbuds are also available to purchase at a fraction of the cost.

The GO Air POP is also still available in black, as well as four distinct colour choices that include lilac, rose, slate, and teal. Each comes equipped with three sizes of gel tips so users can customise the fit for each ear and JLab's patented built-in EQ3 sound profiles for audio customisation.

The GO Air POP also has an IPX4 rating for sweat and water resistance, making it appropriate for life on the go inside or outside the home. The minuscule charging case is smaller than a credit card and weighs just 35.4 grams with the earbuds enclosed and features JLab's integrated and patented USB cable for added convenience.

I don't know why I've had problems with some earpods before but I have. However, from the moment I received the GO Air POP, I was impressed. All the packaging is biodegradable, which makes a pleasant change, and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. Within minutes my set was linked via bluetooth to my iPhone and I was away.

The GO Air POP are the most comfortable earpods I have tried. Reassuring to place them in your ear and hear a chime and a "battery full" alert, so you don't set off somewhere on a low-charge. Another plus factor for me is that you don't have to find a cable and the USB is integral to the charging case. The sound quality is excellent and I enjoy using them especially in my garden and looking forward to the summer ahead. The case is brilliantly compact so perfect for pockets or small handbags and I love the pink – it feels so cheerful.

PWT rating: ♥♥♥♥♥
