In perfect timing for World Hearing Day (3 March), National Sleep Awareness Month (March) and travel season, Loop Earplugs has introduced its limited-edition Iridescent earplugs.
These arrived at the perfect time for me as the noise from roadworks outside had hit maximum irritation point. As soon as I inserted the Loop earplugs my sanity was restored. Perfect for working as I could still hear the telephone ring so wasn't cut off completely.

Loop aims to change the stigma around wearing earplugs, with us being happy to wear glasses to protect our eyesight and SPF to protect our skin but embarrassed to wear earplugs to the likes of a festival to protect our hearing.
The brand’s survey results even found that 59 per cent of people with noise sensitivity said they’d remove themselves from a loud environment. The British Medical Journal also reported that over one billion young people are at risk of hearing loss from live music.
