Low Chignon
Step 1:
Begin the style by separating
two sections of hair
from each side of the head and secure with a clear elastic. Ensure that a gap
is left in the middle of the two sections as this is essential for step 4.
Brush the hair with a paddle brush like the
Leo Bancroft Paddle Brush, spraying the brush with
Leo Bancroft Secretly Styled firm hold
hairspray to prevent any stray hairs. (This technique is used for a sleek
and tidy variation).
If you fancy something a little
messier, begin with wavy
hair and
avoid brushing through, otherwise the wave will become frizz.
Step 2:
Slightly
tease the sectioned hair upwards with a
comb as this will create the
body of the bun.
Step 3:
Secure the remaining hair with a clear elastic,
leaving at least an inch and a half of hair at the end.
Step 4:
Bring the
underneath section of hair up and through the gap left in step 1, and secure
the
excess hair with bobby pins. Give the style an extra spritz
of hairspray to ensure the style is secure.
