In a strange way
sun protection feels more essential this
summer than any other, especially as
clouds don't prevent any of us from
burning. Each outing starts with a
packing list of raincoats, sunhats and sun cream, most recently the new
Simple Baby Sun Sensitive Protecting Suncare Cream and
Simple Kid's Sun Sensitive Suncare Lotion.
Simple have produced a new range of
suncare lotions designed specifically for
kids and
babies with a special blend of
active ingredients and sunflower goodness to
naturally protect against sun damage and help prevent
sun-induced allergies. Both the Kid's lotion and Baby cream are
SPF 50 with a
UVA star rating of three (max is five) and are
water-resistant for 40 minutes.
Like all
Simple products there is no colour,
no unnecessary or harsh chemicals and no
perfume. I could not find a difference between the
Kid's and
Baby products but found both
easy to apply, not being too thick or leaving too many
white streaks. The fact that the Simple range
minimises my children's
exposure to chemicals on their skin is a key
plus point for me.
It may be
perfect for young s
ensitive skin but the
whole family has been happily using this new
Simple range to protect our skin this summer.

We have been using
Simple Baby Sun Sensitive Suncare Cream this summer, and we've been
very happy with the level of
protection it's given our one year old, Eva.
The
75ml tube is handy to carry around and the cream
applies easily, rubbing in well, unlike some other
high factor (SPF 50) brands we've tried.
The cream comes with Simple's "
no perfume, no colour" promise and is also
water-resistant which is always a bonus.
I would
certainly buy this product again.
