Thomas & Friends – Misty Island Rescue

Jump on board as the nation’s favourite little blue engine leaves Sodor for an exciting, feature-length adventure on a mysterious island in Thomas & Friends - Misty Island Rescue. The feature length special is released in Thomas’s new CGI format and introduces a host of new characters and locations as it tells the story of how Thomas gets lost at sea and tries to find his way back home again.
 
Rewarded for helping a friend in need, Thomas is thrilled when he gets the honour of making a voyage to the mainland to collect special wood for Sodor’s new Search and Rescue Centre. But there is no room on the boat for the little blue engine so he has to be pulled behind on a raft. However, disaster strikes during the journey when the boat chain breaks and Thomas drifts off, waking up in a strange place called Misty Island.
 
Searching for a way to get back to Sodor, Thomas meets three new funnelled friends known as the Logging Locos. Together they explore the mystical island, discovering secret hideouts, as they try to find a way to get Thomas back home again. Meanwhile, back on Sodor, the other engines are keen to get Thomas back where he belongs. Will the Fat Controller’s search party ever locate the lost locomotive?
 
Once the story ends, the fun doesn’t have to finish, as the DVD includes the bonus features for children to enjoy, such as the Misty Island Rescue Sing-a-long Song.
