We’ve always
loved visiting
Brighton – rides and fish and chips on
the pier, a swim when we’re feeling strong enough to brave a freezing
cold sea, a visit to the
Sea Life Centre if the sun deserts us, rounded off by a
theatre trip and a meal at
Pinocchio’s.
The
beach might be stony but we’ve enjoyed many a picnic there – an
annual event for a group of our friends. Some of the
adults sneak off to the
Lanes to browse the second-hand
book shops, the kids
amuse themselves for hours – as they’ve got older they've been
allowed to
explore the pier
unsupervised but with a
definite time limit and a
set amount of money to spend! - while those of us left on the beach
set the world to rights.
This summer there’s even more of an incentive to make our way to our favourite city by the sea – VisitBrighton has launched a Kids Go Free campaign which runs until 31 August 2007.
This great money-saving deal gives children the opportunity to enjoy many of the major attractions available in Brighton absolutely free, when accompanied by a paying adult.
