We spent an
autumn half term at
Parcay les Pins and had a great time (see earlier article) - and mild sunny weather! It's a
great place from which to see more of the
Loire region or to just
chill out in.
Although the house
sleeps eight and costs
£650 for
full occupancy for one week in September and October, inclusive of central heating,
hot water, linen and
towels, it can be as cheap as
£30 a night if only
one room is taken.
You can also
arrange for a
meal to be
cooked for you by Trish on the
evening you arrive -
12 euros a head including
wine for
four courses.
Getting there
- Driving - about five hours from most Channel ports
- Train – Eurostar to Lille then TGV to Le Mans or Angers
- Flying – Ryanair from Stansted to Tours
