The
REF.335 Shampoo, Conditioner and
Dry Shampoo are products which add
volume to thin and fine hair - like my own. The products contain
Tamanu Oil from the Tamanu tree which is known for its unique capacity to
promote the formation of new skin cells,
accelerate wound healing and the
growth of healthy hair. The oil has a
lovely aroma and delicate scent, adding to the benefits of using the product.
I found
REF.335 Shampoo and Conditioner pleasant to use, with
no overpowering scent. I had to
use quite a lot of
conditioner to manage my hair – which is
not usually very tangled – but overall it
did the job. It was
labelled as 5/5 for volume, which I
don't disagree with, however, I am
pregnant so the extra volume in my hair could have been down to that.
My hair looked clean and full of body
after washing, although I don't think it remained clean
any longer than if I had used another shampoo. My hair
tends to be quite
greasy if I wash it every other day and
REF 335 was not branded as excelling in this area. It was rated 3/5 for both
care and shine, which I feel was a little unfair as my hair remained
healthy and shiny whilst using the product, and the
added volume was a big bonus as I have always suffered from
limp and static hair (which seems to have stopped happening since using
REF.335).
I did not like the
Dry Shampoo at all. The spray left my hair feeling
hard and sticky, and if anything
looked worse than if I had used nothing at all. I felt immediately as though I wanted
to wash my hair, which is unfortunate in situations like this, when
dry shampoo is used to quickly
rectify hair when there is no time to wash it.
REF. hair products are available from
salons nationwide; prices begin at
£10.65 for REF. shampoos and £8.50 for the
Sculpting Gel.
