When I first saw the
Cupcake Maker I wanted to have one! It's
neat, looks fun and makes
six cakes at a time in eight to ten minutes. A friend commented on what was wrong with
using the oven but if you have one as
undependable as mine you'd know ...
Lakeland's Cupcake Maker comes with a useful
recipe booklet for quantities for
six cakes. Of course you can
make more but I thought it was
great to be able to quickly make a
batch of cakes for a surprise visit, or
children bringing a friend home from school. After all, how often do you get
cakes left over to be
thrown away? Or eaten just for the
sake of it and to hell with the
diet?
Anyway my first attempt with the
Cupcake Maker was compeltely successsful – even if the
icing wasn't up to my daughter's
exacting standards. The machine does
exactly what it is supposed to and is
easily cleaned after use.
Olivia made a
huge quantity of cupcakes for
Harriet's chistening and after being fed up with the
unpredicability of the oven transferred to using the
Cupcake Maker with excellent results for
every batch.
This
lovely little machine would also be great for
little chefs trying out their
culinary skills – with siupervision.
