I thought the 18L Bolt Backpack was a little on the small side when I first saw it but found it surprisingly roomy – a Mary Poppins bag. It easily takes my A4 music folder and my laptop plus there's space for a book or two, make-up bag and a spare pair of shoes! The outer elasticated mesh pockets are perfect for a water bottle on one side and an compact umbrella on the other I take no chances!
Made from heavy duty polyester fabric which won't rip, the shoulder straps are padded and easily adjusted for comfort. The padded back is soft and breathable and the airmesh is raised and contoured tor maximum comfort.
There's an inner compartment specifically designed for a hydration pack (not supplied) if you want one. I use it for anything I need to keep safe – like documents and so on plus there's a clip-hook that I use for my keys so I know exactly where they are. Another pocked is tucked behind the elasticated strapping at the front of the bag.
I have found the Bolt really easy to wear and it looks smart. I have the black bag but it is also available in teal, pale green and khaki and currently selling at £14.99 from Mountain Warehouse.
