When our seven-year-old grandson first saw the LEGO® Nexo Knights, Ultimate Sticker Book, his reaction was COOL! And ever since he has carried it around with him. He does have a lot of Ninjago Lego and some Minecraft models and he does have one of the Nexo Knight figures and has seen their show on TV.
Once again LEGO® and DK have come up with another truly fantastic idea – combining the legends of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table with giant robots and space age vehicles. He said that there was so much to do in the book and spends hours playing with it.
There are actually 28 A4 size pages of reusable colourful stickers showing most of the LEGO® range of Nexo Knight figures and vehicles. These can be put put into their correct places or used to create scene on the backdrops provided. There are also four extra pages of tiny stamp size stickers too; easily over 1000 altogether, as it states on the cover.
LEGO® has also added extra value to this title as compared to the DC Comics Super Heroes version, for example, at the same price, as there are three double page backdrops instead of single ones and it has five scannable shields to provide more fun and interaction with this new range.
Also they have added a wrap-around cover that forms a clasp to hold the book closed with a Velcro tab. Our grandson finds this makes the book even more exciting to open and more of a "special addition". The whole cover is strong and durable with a wipe-down surface; very useful when he reads the book on the kitchen table.
Certainly, children will want the new Nexo Knight Lego models when they see the book, but they will also have hours of fun just playing with the beautifully designed stickers and backgrounds. Great value for money.
