I love so many
Lakeland products and now an again get to
test some – like the
Electric Cupcake Maker which is a delight to use!
So when I saw the
Dry Soon Heated Tower Dryer I was interested to try it out. First off I must confess to using the
tumble dryer probably more often than I should and all of us are probably looking for ways in which to
cut our
energy bills.
The
Dry Soon Heated Tower Dryer runs at
4.5p per hour and offers 21m (69ft) of
drying space which can be used in a
variety of ways and is especially usefully for items which need to be
dried flat. A tip which I gleaned from the
reviews was to
cover/enclose the tower for quicker
drying.
I tried out the
Dry Soon Heated Tower Dryer after a rainy summer's day and the clothes
dried well indoors overnight. "Well anything
dries overnight," said my daughter – well, no, it doesn't.
But to
prove the point I washed all the
chair and cushion covers and put half on a
conventional airer and half on the
Dry Soon Heated Tower Dryer and left them overnight.
The next morning, those on the
Dry Soon Heated Tower Dryer were dry, those on the
conventional airer were still
very damp! The
bonus was that the
kitchen was warmer in the morning as well _ something to look forward to in the winter!
Dry Soon Heated Tower Dryer from
Lakeland costs £79.99 with
