With more and more concern about the number of chemicals we use (and store) in the home and the effect they may have on our health – especially our children’s – it’s a joy to find new ways of cleaning  that are cost-effective as well as environmentally friendly.

The ENJO range uses fibre technology to clean – with only the help of cold water! So I rolled up my sleeves. My hob had had something spilled on it, then “burned on”. I’d tried a well-known proprietary kitchen cleaning product with little effect so this was a real test for the ENJO Glove.

It took me nearly an hour to clean the hob – but believe me the ENJO Glove plus cold water did the job. Other areas in the kitchen were a piece of cake after that! Work surfaces and cupboard doors positively gleamed and all from elbow grease, cold water and the magic mitt. What better recommendation!

So how does the ENJO glove work?

One ENJO fibre is made up of 1056 individual fibres, the result is that the unique filament is highly absorbent with the ability to hold seven times its own weight in water and contains edges that lift and trap dust, dirt, grease and grime within the filament which is only released when washed (can be washed in a machine but without fabric conditioner).

ENJO fibres clean in a mechanical rather than a chemical way.  The microscopically small fibres reach into the tiniest crevices that are visible only when you look at the surface under a microscope.  Tests show that the ENJO Kitchen fibre removes 100 per cent of bacteria.

The ENJO Kitchen glove costs £19.50 and lasts for three years - how much would you have spent on traditional cleaning products?
