Having read lots of information online about “crotch dangling” baby carriers, we were keen to look for carriers that supported the hips of our baby. The Ergobaby ticked all the boxes for supporting our child’s legs whilst keeping her comfortable.
When wearing the Ergobaby we found it very comfortable and supportive on our own backs and it was easily adapted to be worn by my husband and me. It was also easy to get the baby in and out on your own once we’d got the hang of it.
Our baby is four and a half months old and above the weight threshold to not require the newborn insert, however when wearing in the front inwards position, we did find that she was a little bit squashed up against the side straps when she turned her head.
Our baby is not quite big enough to be able to try the hip or back position yet so we cannot comment on these.
An improvement that we feel could be made is that the instructions could be clearer regarding all the different straps that need adjusting, in the end we watched a YouTube video.

The carriers are designed in two different print designs, both championing the archetypal bold lines, vivid colours, and active figures that Keith Haring’s iconic work is famed for. The bright and beautiful POP style features these signature figures in daring primary colours, whilst the sophisticated monochrome print is a subtle blend of these same figures, ideal for a more understated look.
Ergobaby Adapt is available from the Ergobaby website RRP £129.90,
