One of
Eurocamp’s most popular parcs,
El Bahira in Sicily is ideal for experiencing the best of the
Mediterranean island; heavenly beaches, glorious food and stunning scenery.
The parc is also just 3km from the pretty coastal town of
San Vito lo Capo, known for its foodie event, which takes place in September each year:
Cous Cous Fest, an exposition featuring
Sicilian and
North African cuisine and entertainment, including fusion and
global music concerts, wine tasting and cookery
workshops.
When not experiencing the
culinary delights and taking in the atmosphere of the
festival (21 to 26 September 2010),
holidaymakers can enjoy time spent back at the parc, where there’s plenty to keep the whole
family occupied, with two
swimming pools, tennis, fishing and
volleyball as well as a programme of organised
entertainment. El Bahira parc even has its own
scuba diving school, for the opportunity to explore one of the best
underwater worlds on this part of the coast.
El Bahira has direct access to the
beach and is just a short drive from the nature reserves of
Monte Cofano and
Zingaro, with the historic towns of
Mozia, Trapani, Segesta and
Erice a little further afield.
A
seven night summer holiday at
Eurocamp’s El Bahira parc (arriving 23 September 2010), now costs just
£249 for the whole family, staying in a 2 bedroom "Superior" mobile home with air conditioning (
sleeps up to seven), accommodation only.
Ferry crossings, fly drive packages, rail travel and
overnight stops – at hotels or parcs en route - can also be arranged through
Eurocamp at a supplement.
