With
the holidays around the corner, I can't wait for the change of pace that comes
with school holidays and in particular this Christmas, the opportunity to
re-discover well loved games and new ones as Toby and Pippa get older and board
games can be enjoyed together.
Toby
and Pippa have been testing the Garden Compendium, a giant interlocking foam
board which can be divided into five games - draughts, noughts and crosses, Chinese
checkers, solitaire and backgammon - or can be used separately. All the games
pieces are included and are made from foam, they are easily packed away in the
cardboard box and are very light to store.
'It's
better being big because it feels more fun and I love playing draughts with the
giant pieces.' said Toby while Pippa added 'I like the noughts and crosses and
want to play it lots.'
The
great thing about this compendium is that it has year long use as it's just as
much fun played inside on a carpet as it is on a patio in the garden.
