I am always keen to
test products when I learn they are associated with fighting the
signs of ageing and revealing a more
radiantly flawless skin!
I have been using
Lancome Primordiale Skin Defence twice a day on a fairly regular basis for about
four weeks now. I have applied it to my
face under moisturiser in the morning and last thing at
night, having first removed my makeup,
cleansed and toned my skin and then having
washed my face with a scent-free face wash.
In particular I have
concentrated on using the
serum more liberally on the
lined areas around my
eyes, on my brow and on my
upper lip. You only need a
small amount because the serum
spreads easily on to the skin and is
quickly absorbed. After using it I did find that the
surface of my skin felt soft and
slightly glowing.
I also thought that the
sensitive area underneath my eyes showed considerably
less puffiness on waking in the
morning and any remaining puffiness quickly disappeared with the application of
further serum.
Enriched with
vitamins C and E and wheat and white grape seed extracts,
Lancome Primordiale Skin Defence is suitable for
all skin types and is designed to
fight oxidation of the skin, which is caused by
damaging free radicals that the skin encounters every day. It is these radicals, which
cause the skin to look
dull and tired and are one of the most
significant signs of premature
ageing. After
four weeks of using
Lancome Primordiale Skin Defence, skin
texture and tone is meant to be
improved and as far as
my skin is concerned I would have to
agree with that. However the claim that
fine lines appear visibly reduced, this I will leave for
others to judge!
Lancome Primordiale Skin Defence is available from
department stores and good chemists at £44.
