This Friday,
14 December 2012, is the final day that children will be able to
write to Santa and receive a
personal reply back. Every
Christmas, Santa receives hundreds of thousands of letters and
replies to everyone who includes a
return address but time is running out for children to get their requests in to
Father Christmas.
As we draw nearer to the big day,
Santa’s team of helpers at
Royal Mail is extremely busy managing Santa’s
Christmas mailbag and
Royal Mail is encouraging any children who have
not yet written to him, to get their letters in the post by Friday.
Santa’s very own postwoman, Tara Connor said: “
Santa and his
elves love reading all the letters and are working flat out to make sure that children receive a reply in time for
Christmas."
Tara also had a special plea from
Father Christmas: “Santa says that things are getting quite hectic round the
Grotto and that he and the elves really need to start getting ready for his long sleigh ride on
Christmas Eve. That’s why he has asked me to remind children everywhere to
send their letters by Friday so that he has time to write back!”
