Lovegrove Essentials, created by mother and daughter team Hannah Lovegrove and Hayley de Beers in Dorset, is a skincare brand that harnesses the therapeutic effects of essential oils to benefit the skin as well as mind and body. I tried two of the products which I enjoyed but don't feel I can comment on the mind and body aspects of them. However Lovegrove is committed to using high quality ingredients from ethical suppliers.
Cleansing Balm £37/60g
This is a lovely cleanser to use. Taking an amount about the size of a 50p piece into the palm of your hand and warm between hands until liquid. Apply to the face and remove with a muslin cloth (included) and warm water.
Repeat for a deep cleanse and exfoliation.
Can also be used as a mask on a clean face. Leave on for five minutes and removed with a hot cloth.

Toning Mist £34/120m
Spray onto cotton wool and gently wipe over the face and neck after cleansing, or spray directly onto the face and wipe with cotton wool. To me this had the smell and feel or rose water.
The Toning Mist can be sprayed directly onto the skin over makeup throughout the day to add moisture which is great if your skin dries out as a result of central heating or air conditioning.
This looks to be a cost effective product as you use little and the product doesn't have a short lifespan as some do. The one I was sent was best before April 2019.

Other products in the range include:
Moisture Cream £49/60g; Healing Touch Serum £55/50ml; and a vegan version of the Cleansing Balm £37/60g.
Perhaps the best way to try out Lovegrove Essentials – or to give as a gift – is Mini Essentials set which includes small versions of all the products and costs £29.95.
