I have been lucky enough to use a few of the Mama Mio products during my pregnancy, but in the middle of a heatwave, the Lucky Legs Cooling Leg Gel was the perfect tonic.
The gel is more of a cross between a lotion and a gel, and was lovely to apply on both the feet and the legs. Helpfully, unlike some other gels, it didn’t leave any sticky residue on my hands after use. It was beautifully fragrant, and the menthol and spearmint oil made for a really refreshing and relaxing scent.
Whilst the gel doesn’t promise to reduce any swelling caused by water retention, I do think it helped my swollen, puffy feet. After a long day of walking, post-massage with Lucky Legs my legs felt less tired and heavy too. You do need to use a decent amount of the gel to really get a good massage, so I don’t think the product will last throughout the entire pregnancy, but it is great as a treat during the tiring final trimester!
