It's a sad fact of life that most women are wearing the wrong size bra. This often reduces the wow factor of an outfit but even more worrying may affect your health. A recent study by the British School of Osteopathy has linked ill-fitting bras to breathing difficulties, Irritable Bowel Syndrome and digestive problems.
Whether through embarrassment or lack of facilities we tend not to get ourselves measured up for one piece of underwear which can really make or break an outfit. A friend of mine who is very generously endowed always has her bras fitted and she looks fabulous in her clothes.
Optifit is an online company which allows you to measure yourself in the privacy of your own home and then they send you the correct size bra. The Opti-Measure® is a strange looking piece of equipment but is easy to use when you follow the detailed instructions sent with it. This is relative simple to carry out but Optifit suggests you measure twice to be sure of accuracy.
You then choose your bra and it's sent to you. I was sent Retro in "Dramatic Black" and I must say that when the bra arrived it looked much nicer that the illustration There are directions for how to fit it and the warning that the bra may feel a bit tight at first. Mine did but after a wash and wear is extremely comfortable. I love the fit and it works well under my clothes. The bras are machine washable but also dry quickly when washed by hand.
The Optifit bras, are available in Active and Retro as well as nursing and maternity. These bras are not cheap but as they make any outfit look so much better, they're a great investment especially as an ill-fitting bra can have dire implications for your health.
