Turf WarsPlus the familiar and beguiling characters joined by a multitude of visitors; lazy farmhands, rock stars, even escaped convicts as well as troublesome moles and hedgehogs in need of a good night’s sleep. We’re treated to Bitzer reconnecting with his inner-dog, the Pigs displaying their more sophisticated side and Shaun discovering the importance of a good hairstyle.
Harriet is now a confirmed fan of Shaun the Sheep and laughs out loud at some of the antics. The wonderful thing about Aardman productions is that they are so appealing to adults too, so the whole family can enjoy all the episode together or view selected ones to fill a shorter time.
Celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Aardman and in advance of the newly announced and highly anticipated movie sequel, Shaun the Sheep is a firm favourite to family audiences all over the world.
I loved watching A Grand Night In – The Aardman Story, which is the Extra on this DVD, packed with famous actors ranging from David Tennant to Bill Nighy whose voices have been used for characters in a whole range of exceptional films, reminiscing and sharing their experiences.
