With a busy
toddler to be running after, baby Thea spends a lot of time in a
sling, so I was
delighted to trial
theBabaSling®-Lite. Even more so with this flush of
very
hot weather as I was worried about her getting
over heated in the more
padded slings that we have.
The material of
theBabaSling®-Liteis a
lovely
cotton which succeeds feeling
lightweight both to
wear and for the
baby.
Unlike some other
slings there is a
padded strip at the top and bottom which
means that you don't have to worry about the
sling digging into the baby.
theBabaSling®-Lite can
be used to
carry your baby from
newborn with even more
positions when they
are older. Thea is
four months and very interested in her
surroundings, so a big
plus for us was that she was able to
face outwards as well as inward.
Initially it was
a little tricky to
adjust the sling to fit but after this has been done once,
it can be quickly
popped back on the next time you use it as long as you are
carrying in the
same position. The
sling comes with
instructions for each
position and so far we have tried a few of them. Our
favourite is the
"little
Joey" which Thea absolutely
loves and chats to the world as we are walking
along. If she needs a
nap, I simply turn her to face me in the "
Koala cuddle"
and she quickly dozes off.
An added
bonus is
that when
Wilf wants to be carried he can also be
popped into the sling in the
"
side saddle" position and it saves my back!
Overall I am
really pleased with
theBabaSling®-Lite. The only down side is the
slight difficultly in
adjusting the fit.
