I have never really considered myself a
brunette but perhaps that was in the days before the
hair dye became an
essential part of my
hair care to cover the increasing amounts of
grey! Now that my
hair colour is slightly darker I was
interested to see what effect these
products would have on my hair. I was
pleasantly surprised!
Both the
shampoo and
conditioner are enriched with powerful
nutrients. The shampoo has a very
pleasant fragrance, resembling the scent of
almonds. Only a small amount of the
product is needed to create a
substantial lather. I have
short hair, but using
Brunette Goddess Shampoo would be
economical even for someone with longer hair. The shampoo gave my hair a
shiny appearance and it did not seem at all dull or lifeless, which is very important for someone who
washes her hair
every day.
The
Brunette Goddess Conditioner contains soy and wheat proteins
designed to retain
moisture and revitalise shine. It also had an
equally pleasant aroma and resulted in my hair feeling soft and
lying flat on my head without having a
flyaway appearance. After
several washes, I managed to gauge the
right amount to use and this would obviously
depend on the length, texture and thickness of
one's hair.
I have also used the
Brunette Goddess Shine Spray on several occasions. The correct amount of this sprayed
directly on to the hair gives it a
slightly shiny appearance. I would also
recommend using the spray, if you just want to
scrunch your hair with your fingers without necessarily
washing it. The small
size of the bottle would make it easy for carrying in one's
handbag should you need to
revitalise your hair during the day or if you are having an
evening out straight from work.
