The prize is voted for by Waterstones booksellers and consists of three categories; best picture books, best fiction for 5-12s, and best book for teens. The winners of each category will win £2,000 and an overall competition winner will receive an additional £3,000. The winners will be announced on Thursday 3 April, 2014.
