This summer’s extra-special 25th anniversary Silverstone Classic (24 to 26 July) is going to be the most spectacular yet with a host of dazzling Silver Jubilee celebrations. In this amazing competition, we are giving away a family access all areas pass for the entire Silverstone Classic weekend – worth £250.
The glittering annual extravaganza is already established as the World’s Biggest Classic Motor Racing Festival but the sheer scale of this not-to-be-missed event is hard to grasp. The vast Silverstone estate is crammed with mouth-watering attractions, eye-catching displays, car clubs, shops, vintage funfairs, street car shoot-outs, aviation and so much more fabulous family entertainment.
At the heart of the best-ever mammoth three-day event is the outstanding on-track action with epic races bringing together some of the finest historic classes in Europe. The non-stop schedule includes more than 20 sensational showdowns – all featuring packed 50-car grids loaded with legendary GT, sports, saloon and F1 cars from past generations.
The sensational racing, though, is just part of the full story. A record number of 100+ motor clubs will be displaying in excess of 10,000 classic cars on the in-field area – many also providing sparkling track parades to mark their own motoring milestones.
Tickets (which must be purchased in advance) not only provide free access to all the race paddocks and displays but also free seating in trackside grandstands plus free admission to the Classic’s renowned live music concerts.
In celebration of this year’s Silver Jubilee, rock legends Status Quo are headlining on Saturday evening with chart-topper Paul Young topping Friday night’s bill.
