Hyper Dash is a great
family game. It involves
timed running and has several options (run
singly or with
partner). You have to run
between markers and put the hand-held
device on the the marker it
names ("go to red, blue " etc).
Once you have put it on the
named cup it tells you which is the
next cup to visit. When you have
touched all the cups it then gives you the
time it took for you to
finish the
course. I
t is up to you to
determine the size of the
course, so you can make the game as
energetic as you want. It is
easy to assemble, my nine year old nephew set it up for me.
As
long as you can run you can
play this game. As a
family we had been
playing croquet and
rounders, games which my
five year-old could not
participate in. With
the whole family
could join in and James really loved the game.
Four people can play at a time in
single runner mode. But
eight could play in
partner mode, the device made a sound to tell you when to
switch partners.
It is
portable so you can take it
anywhere with you and set it up quickly. It is
ideal for park or
beach during the
holidays and if there is enough room in the suitcase I will pack it when we go to Ireland.
