MasqueBar – home treatment masks

Most of us don't have the time or the money to indulge in regular salon treatments so it's always good to hear of a new, affordable, salon-standard home remedy, the MasqueBar range from Boots.

There are four treatment masks in this new MasqueBar range, developed in Korea;

• Anti-Blemish Mud Mask – soothes irritated skin and helps control excess oil.
• Brightening Sheet Mask – helps to minimise pigment irregularities for more radiant skin.
• Pore Refining Creme Mask – balances and refines.
• Anti-Wrinkle Sheet Mask – collagen infused to leave skin soft and refreshed.

The creme and mud masks are applied after the face has been thoroughly cleaned with warm water. Leave on for 15 to 20 minutes and rinse with water.

Follow this with a sheet mask which is applied to the cleansed, dried face. Leave on for 20 to 30 minutes, then peel off slowly from the edges.

I tried the Anti-Blemish Mud Mask and the Brightening Sheet Mask.Both were good to use and left my skin feeling cleansed and refreshed.

I think it would have been better to test out the benefits over three treatments as I'm sure they would be accumulative.
