Having already tried and tested the new cid
i-perfection Colour Adjust Foundation and the
i-pout lip colour I was eager to try the
new i-gloss for lips and
i-colour for eyes from
new cid cosmetics. I was not disappointed.
The
i-gloss I tried was
Honey Pot. This is perfect for
day-time wear on its own or for creating a
dramatic effect worn over your lip shade. There's a
mirror on one side and as you unscrew to open, a
light comes on to help you apply – just like the
i-pout.

Eye shadows can be awkward. Some are
difficult to apply just the right amount and others end up
disappearing into the
socket line. The
i-colour (I had
Crystal Quartz) has a luxuriously
creamy texture and you apply with a
brush. For more
impact you can add more or
less colour to different areas of the
eyelid.
This
i-colour is desribed as "
Long-Wear Cream Eyeshadow" and I can certainly vouch for that. At the end of the day the colour looks
as fresh as when applied.
PWT rating: ♥♥♥♥♥
There are seven shades of
i-gloss priced at £16 and eight
i-colour cream eyeshadows to chose from priced at £14 – and this will last for ages so a
good buy.
Available from
new cid online or
New ID studios nationwide.
